Chinese food meets Californian wine. It was game, set and match! We were given a list of suggested dishes to purchase from our local favorite Chinese restaurant. Liz Thach, MW, led us in an exploration of dry and semi-sweet Reisling’s from Bedrock and a Gamay from Pence that would match those foods. It was an attractive and very well-orchestrated event, a palate opener for those interested in expanding their knowledge and palate for wine as a food match. In recognition of Liz's expert assistance, this month, Liz was designated as an Honorary Member of our Society.
