Event Summary

We were welcomed with an aperitif of Sparkling Wine from California, per our Society’s provenance. When seated, the service started with the pouring of Kongsgaard Chardonnay to be enjoyed with the Fresh Scallop Emincee. The Kongsgaard was a gift from a fellow member to celebrate our first inside dining experience in 15 months. As we moved to the Stuffed Quail, we celebrated La Paulée style by emulating the Burgundians who, after the region’s grapes are harvested, attend a communal dinner, each bringing a bottle or two of their personal wine to share with fellow celebrants. We enjoyed sharing and tasting each other’s wines. Society wine from our cellar was also available. À votre santé! The hosts for this evening were: Sandra Gale, Doug Anderson, Paul Tuttle
